General
Independent beauty and wellness professionals: hair, skin, nails, lash, brow, massage and makeup. Every studio is private, and you run it as your own business.
Yes. Most of the industry calls them salon suites. We call ours studios: a private, lockable room where you run your own business, with your own clients, prices and hours.
Winter 2026/27, at Capri Centre in Kelowna. Private tours start in mid-October.
Book a private tour. After your tour, we email you a personal link to apply for the studio you want. Once you're approved, you go through your studio licence together and sign online.
Studio fees are weekly and depend on the studio's size and where it sits in the building. We go through them on your private tour, along with everything that's included.
Your studio
A glass front with a frosted door and shades, a built-in storage unit with its own sink, a counter and mirror, dimmable colour-accurate lighting, a dedicated 20 amp circuit, and 24/7 keyless access.
Your own chair, bed or table, plus your tools and products. The storage unit, sink, counter and mirror are already built in.
Yes. Studios are plumbed for a shampoo bowl, and Bloom installs one for hair pros on request. On your tour, ask which studios have the most room for a bowl and chair.
Yes. Decorate it to suit your brand with freestanding pieces and removable hangers. Painting, drilling and other permanent changes need Bloom's written OK first.
The building
Electricity, water and heat. Wifi throughout. Self-serve commercial washers and dryers. Reception with client self check-in, a lunch room and two accessible washrooms. Cleaning and upkeep of the shared spaces. 24/7 keyless access, and your resident portal for payments, notices and your licence.
Washer and dryer use is included; bring your own detergent. Bloom cleans the shared spaces, and you clean your own studio.
Yes. Free parking in the Capri Centre lot off Gordon Drive, right outside our front door. Spaces aren't reserved.
At the iPad in reception. You get a text when they arrive.
During the day, the front door is open and clients check themselves in at reception. After hours it stays locked: your client taps your studio number on the video intercom at the front door, and you see them, talk to them and let them in from your phone. Capri Centre also has security on site around the clock, and they'll walk you or your client to your car after a late appointment if you'd like.
Your business
No. You keep 100% of your service revenue, and Bloom has no access to your revenue or your client list. It's written into your licence.
Yes. Keep using whatever you use now. Your clients book with you.
Yes. Provide proof of your business liability insurance before your building access starts.
The ones your services require. Bloom gives you a checklist and reviews your documents before you see clients.
Terms and payments
Choose a 12-month licence or go month-to-month. Month-to-month ends on 30 days' notice at any time. When a 12-month licence ends, it carries on month-to-month unless either side gives 30 days' notice.
Your studio fee is weekly, by automatic debit from your bank account, plus GST. A security deposit is collected when you sign.
